Phylogenetic Charts!

  Initially when we look at these charts it can be intimidating.  I mean, they "prove" evolution, right?  When I first started in this ministry these charts were what convinvced me that the Creationists were telling me the truth!  Sounds weird, I know.  Because of my background I was not a very trusting person.  I asked a LOT of questions.  I was asking both Christians and non-christians, creationists and evolutionists.  At the same time I was looking at the world around me to see what fit with what these folks were telling me.

  Notice the second chart, the "dinosaur family tree".

  Start at the bottom and notice what is being taught is that given enough time, right circumstances small reptiles evolved to all of the dinosaurs we find in the fossil record.

  Really!  I tell folks something my parents taught me a long time ago, “Read the fine print before you sign anything!”  I’ve made the fine print bigger and changed the ‘tinted areas’ to red to make it more visible.  “Tinted areas indicate solid fossil evidence”.  That means the ‘red’ stuff is “solid fossil evidence’, otherwise known as ‘facts’.  The ‘white’ area therefore is NOT ‘solid fossil evidence’.  It is where all of the so-called ‘evolution’ had to take place for their belief system to be true.  I call it ‘fiction’!  It is not based in actual evidence.  It is based on the lack of evidence in the fossil record.  The actual scientific evidence shows that one animal stayed one animal and didn’t change from or into anything else.

There’s another very important point to notice.  We need to teach critical thinking skills when dealing with these charts.  Notice how much ‘evolution’ had to take place in 30 MYR’s for their story to have any chance at being reality.  Then notice that some things didn’t change any more for 150 MYR’s!  How about they’re just not that old?  We find many things in the world today that are called ‘living fossils’.  There are hundreds of these fossils.  Animals and plant that haven’t changed in, supposedly, hundreds of millions of years.  I’m of the believe that they’re just not that old!

  Below you’ll see other charts that show the same pattern.  In many cases ‘dashed lines’ are used to depict the sol-called ‘evolution’.  It means the same thing though as the chart above, no evidence.

  Another little 'trick' that is used are dash lines.  Dashed lines mean the same thing as the "white" are in the dinosaur chart.  No evidence!  Notice if you were to take away the dashed lines or "white" area in these charts they actually show creation!

Here's one of my favorites.  It's the phylogenetic chart depicting whale evolution.

Please notice the 13 question marks and the dashed lines.  Doesn't seem to support the theory of evolution!  Let me get rid of the question marks and dashed lines and let's just look at the evidence.  Let's see what's really there:

Interesting, one thing stayed one thing and never changed from or into anything else.  Whales have always been whales.  God is good, all the time.
