Pray for these folks that I was privileged to meet and share with on the road!  Reach out and share with someone yourself.  As a friend challenged me, "Love them like Jesus"!

2011

Port Charlotte, FL - Please pray for Nicki.  We had a really nice conversation with her as she served us today.  Pray that the Lord would open the door for her future training as a dental assistant.  She has applied for a school and is waiting to hear the decision for her application.  Also, please pray that the Lord will draw her close to Him and give her an amazing ministry to help others not make some of the same decisions she made in her past.  As I shared with her, I believe God has uniquely prepared each of us for a special ministry by what we've encountered in our lives.

Las Vegas, NV - Please pray for Colleen and her father.  He's an elderly man struggling with his health.  He's fallen and is in the hospital.  These are dear folks in the Lord also.  Colleen is with her father at the moment while he's at the hospital.  It's not easy seeing your loved one struggle so pray that God would comfort them both.

Ankeny, IA - Please pray for Mrs. B.  She's got a doctor's appointment to find out what is wrong with her health.  She and her husband are dear folks who love the Lord.  Pray that through this process they'll find out what is wrong, but that she'll also be able to share the Lord through the process.

Ankeny, IA - Please pray for Rachel, she's a nursing student and has a VERY important test this week.

Ankeny, IA - Please pray for Arial and her Aunt Joanie.  Pray tha Joanie's physical health would improve.  In addition pray that God would give them peace and strength.  Especially pray that they would come to know Christ as their Savior if hey don't know Him. Thanks and stay bold.

Ankeny, IA - Please pray for Cody.  He was the young man that served us our lunch.  Pray for his allergies to clear up.  In addition to his physical health, I'd ask that you pray for him spiritually as well.  Pray that God would draw him close to Himself and give Cody a peace that passes all understanding.  Thanks!

Ankeny, IA - Please pray for Jake.  He's a young man that I met at a conference.  He's going to witnes to his neighbor, I believe his name was Tanner.  Please pray for boldness, clarity and wisdom and Jake reaches out.  Pray that the Holy Spirit would be working in Tanner.

Aliso Viejo, CA - Pleaes pray for the "K" family as they lost a family member recently.  Also, pray for the folks that I had the privilege of ministering to at Compass Bible Church.  Amazing, sweet people. I had a number of high schoolers talk with me about being emboldened in their faith!!!  Stay bold.

South Africa - My mom sent this to me.  Please pray for her friend.  Thanks!  "I a hoping that perhaps you could put my friend Rod, on your prayer
list. He underwent open heart surgery a few years back and was just
thinking he had fully recovered, when he started feeling bad. He went in
and has found out that he has bone marrow cancer. They have given him
2-5 years to live. I told him that it's not the DR.s decision that God
will take him when he wants him, and that I would pray for him. He lives
in South Africa, and I believe he is a good and caring person."

San Diego, CA - Please pray for Sal and Alexis.  Sal was my waiter today and he asked that we pray for Alexis health.  She's his girlfriend and not feeling well.  Please pray for physical health and spiritual fire.

Florence, KY - Please pray for our waitress Rizza.  She asked that we lift up her family and her health in our prayers.  Pray God would richly and abundantly bless her and her family.  That He would draw them all to Himself and be glorified in their lives.  Thank you!

Wheaton, IL - Please pray for Jim and Linda.  They have a group that has been meeting at Naperville Settlement and they've outgrown the facility.  They need a new place for their folks to meet.  Please pray God would direct them to where it is that He has in store for them.

Hebron, KY - Please pray for Cathy and Doug.  She is being admitted to the hospital with back problems as I type this.  Thank you very much.  Good friends and they appreciate your prayers.

Chattanooga, TN - Please pray for the Bott Family.  They are in the process of selling everything and moving to teach at Word of Life Argentina!  Pray for a smooth transition and an amazing ministry.  Thank you!

Oregon - Please pray for a friend, Keith, and his wife, Connie.  She is recovering from very serious surgery.  Pray for physical health to return and spiritual strength.  He's a good man, full-time professor in college and impacting many lives for Christ.

Cape Coral, FL - Please pray for Veronica.  She was our waitress and did a great job.  She's from a Catholic background, but is now searching.  She has two daughters and is wanting to take them to church.  We had a great talk with her.  Pray the Lord would lead her not necessarily to a church, but to Him!  Yes, pray for the good church as well, that is important.  I'm not trying to diminish that, it's just that if she has the relationship with the Lord, the good church will come as a consequence because she'll be able to smell the bad.

Plantation, FL - Please pray for Cassandra.  She checked me into the hotel in Cape Coral.  She didn't give a specific request, just asked that we pray for "everything" for her.  Please lift her up.

Texas - Please pray for Dr. and Mrs. Martin and their family.  Their daughter Taryn has to go to the doctor for an ear problem, Mrs. Marin is having problems with her wrist healing after being broken and Dr. Martin is healing as well. Great family that needs our prayers and support.  Check 'em out here and pray for them.

Japan, Hawaii - Pray for almost the whole Pacific in light of the earthquake and tsunami's that are taking place.  Very devastating!  Lots of folks are impacted by this.

Miami, FL - Pray for Russell.  His body has been swelling up and they're not totally sure what the cause is.  He is getting ready to leave for England as a missionary.  Pray the doctors can figure out the cause and that even in the midst of this God will be glorified.

Plantation, FL - Pray for Cassandra. She was the lady that checked me into the hotel.  She wouldn't give a specific request, just to pray for "everything".  She was appreciative for the request.

Texas - My dear friends Dr. Jobe and Jenna Dee Martin asked for some serious prayer.  Please lift them up:

"In from one  trip and off for another on Monday…I have an appt. today with hand specialist and will know better if surgery is necessary…Taryn has a very serious ear infection, second trip to dr. yesterday, more repairmen today for various needs, Jobe doing a little better with skin since starting to use a skin screen . . . so concerned about Taryn’s ear and that it might open today . . . don’t want permanent damage if possible and God will graciously heal it. . . Mirren’s hands going through a round of cracking and bleeding . . . ah for those glorified bodies!  Pray for wisdom as to whether to go to a board meeting of a mission we are on the board with . . . in San Antonio Sunday, and then make it on the road for the return trip to So. Carolina Monday.  We would go there and back in a day (eight hours round trip).

Jamaica - Pray for the rforh contingency on the Cruise with a Cause.  We will be witnessing in prison's, schools and on the street.  There is a chance we could reach up to 250,000 people with the Gospel message.  Pray that the ship will fill up and that God would be glorified in amazing ways.  The trip takes place May 30 - June 4 so pray God is already working on hearts and opening doors.

Stone Mountain, GA - Pray for a dear brother, Mark, and a man he shared with yesterday.  Mark shared the Lord with a man on his flight.  The man shared with him that he had lost his wife as a result of someone killing her.  His quesiton to Mark was why would a God allow his wife to die and this man live?  There are lots of folks hurting and they need the Lord.

South Carolina - Pray for Art, he just found out that he has pneumonia.  He's a good man!

Montana - Got a great friend up in Montana starting a new church.  He sent me some very awesome prayer requests, please lift him up.

1. One of the boys coming to study Sat. nights (Randy) gave his life to the Lord! I had it on my heart to take him to a "good church" (Calvary Chapel Minot) about 1/1/2 hours away. He agreed to go. Afterward I just shot straight with him and asked him where he was at and all with the Lord. We talked a few minutes then he said he wanted to take the next step and ask the Lord into his heart, and to make a commitment to follow the Lord. Praise God.
 
2. Church thing...talked to owner yesterday. Told him we got an estimate on the roof that needs to be replaced. Our estimate came back about $7000! That's doing most of the work ourselves. Shot straight with him and told him we don't have that kind of cash to buy biuilding for $7000 and then spend $7000 on a roof. He said he needed to talk to some people and he would get back to me in about 2 weeks time. If you could be praying for that I would appreciate it.

Bradford, Manchester, UK - Just got this in from a friend, Stanley, in England.  What a blessing to be alowed to lift someone up when they struggle.  Please pray for him:  "

Atlanta, GA - Please pray for Tina.  Sat next to her on the flight to Atlanta from Cincy.  She travels a lot for her work.  She was on her way to San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Pray the Lord will protect her while she travels and help her to grow in her faith.

Newport, KY - Please pray for James.  He served us lunch and Pastor Jerry and I had a chance to share with him.  He's staring a new business in the area.  Pray the Lord will open his eye's to what's really important!  Nice guys still need the Lord.

Aliso Viejo, CA - Please pray for David.  Pray that the Holy Spirit would challenge him to take a more active role as spiritual head of his family.  Pray the Lord would open his eyes to the importance of pouring into his family and give him wisdom to do so in a God honoring manner.  Thank you!

Northern Kentucky - Please pray for Chris.  He was unable to get out of bed the other day, pretty sore.  The doctor things he may have gout.  Pray the Lord will be glorified even in this and that Chris will have peace and comfort in the midst of struggles.  Pray for his parents as well that Chris may impact their lives for Christ.

Gainesville, GA - James asked that we pray for him.  He says that the Lord knows what the needs are so please just lift him up.

Flowery Branch, GA - Calli appreciated the prayers, didn't have anything specific to lift up.  Pray the Lord will bless here and draw her near if she doesn't know him.

Mason, OH - Please pray for my friend Rich.  He's training right now and is struggling with back pain.  I'd ask that you pray for his health and his family.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to use him to bring many to a saving knowlege of Christ and make he and his wife amazing warriors for the Lord.

Grand Rapids, MI - Very important prayer request came in from a friend in Grand Rapids.  Please take a look and pray for Trenton.

Another  family from Zion school has urgent need of your prayer.  Trenton Schuiteman is a young little guy in the D-Kindergarten class at Zion.  He was at school earlier this week and is now fighting for his life with Bacterial Meningitis, unconscious at the hospital.   I’ve copied some excerpts from Trenton’s care pages and ask for your prayers for him and his parents Kurt & Carissa Schuiteman.  Thanks for lifting him in prayer to our gracious and loving heavenly father….

After 2 days of vomiting, Trenton was taken to ER for hydration. He was going to be admitted for IV fluids. Upon arrival to his floor his condition deteriated rapidly. He was immediately transferred to the PICU where he remains at this time. After a lot of hard work by many people, it was determined that Trenton has a Bacterial Meningitis. Due to his poor condition and seizure activity a breathing tube and many lines were placed to be able to take care of him medically. Today we were able to talk with the Neurologist about his MRI and EEG results and it was determined that Trenton has significant infection and inflammation in his brain and brain stem. The infection is causing his brain not to communicate with his body, so he is unresponsive at this time except for minimal reflex movements of his feet. He continues to have his brain waves monitored and is on continual antibiotics and seizure medications at this time. His vitals have started to stabilize so this is reassuring. The plan is to place a feeding tube today and then continue with his medications and then just wait for his body to heal. We have been told that this could be a long process and is very uncertain as to how this will progress. We are expecting at least 2-3 weeks of antibiotics at best case and likely that he would remain in the ICU into next week. It is important that he remains in a low stimulus environment so that his brain can heal so we are requesting that only family visit right now. We continue to seek your prayers as we know you have been. It is amazing to know the love and support that is behind Trenton right now. We also continue to be thankful to the Lord that he has spared Trenton thus far and it is a comfort to know that he is with him each moment. Trenton will be back playing soon!

Covington, KY -  Please pray for Chris.  She was so excited that we would pray for her.  (Please start reaching out to those around us.  I'm telling you, if you start talking with folks and just ask to pray for them you WILL be blessed.  A year from now you will thank me for challenging you to do this.  There will be some negative responses for sure, the vast majority will be positive though.  Even the negative responses are positive though when you pray for someone!  Pray for yourself to get bold if you're timid!)  Chris totally blessed us with how excited she was.  She asked for strength.  It was a totally crazy night and she appreciated the encouragement.  She told us on her breaks she finds a quiet spot to pray herself.  Lift her up please.

Hebron, KY -  Please pray for Jasmine and Jordan.  Their mother was our server today at lunch.  They are participating in cheerleading and basketball and have some competitions coming up.  Pray that Mom will bring them to the Creation Museum as well.

Colorado - Please pray for Brent and Mary Noel.  She just had a baby and is struggling with depression after the birth.

Florida -  Please pray for my Uncle Dale.  I just got the following email from my Aunt Sue.  Thank you in advance. 

"I wonder if you would add your Uncle Dale to your prayer list.  The
good news is that after 2 1/2 years he is done with chemo.  The bad news
is that on Friday, Dec. 10th he has to go into the hospital to have a hole in his heart "patched".  I'm frightened and could use prayers for both of us.

Flowery Branch, GA - Please pray for Nathan, he cut his finger pretty badly and had to spend 3 hours in the emergency roon tonight.  Fortunately they got him stitched up and he'll be o.k.!  Just pray for healing please.  Thanks.

Perrysburg, OH - Please pray for Laura. She's been in and out of the hospital over the last 3 months.  Had a nice talk with her over breakfast.  I don't think she knows the Lord.  Pray the Lord heals here physically and spiritually.  Thanks!

Los Angeles, CA - Just got word that a dear brother, Brian, is in the hospital. 
He's got meningitis. They don't know what type yet.  Please pray for healing!

Chicago, IL - Another update on Wally.  He's the elderly gentleman that fell and now has water on
the brain .  He's the father of a dear friend, Colleen.   He is having some problems with dizziness.  He's got a doctors appointment coming up so pray for wisdom and healing.  They're hoping that the drain they put in isn't clogged and he's just healing a little slowly.  Thanks so much.

PRAYER UPDATE - If you remember, we prayed for Hannah just a few days ago about her college class where the teacher was going after those that believe in God.  Well, she believes the prayers were answered.  Here's her response:

Thank you for your encouragement. So, I was actually very surprised in
class today by the weakness of the argument against creation. I thought that
the teacher was going to provide some scientific explanation as to why ID
theory couldn't be correct. I thought that they would try to use scientific
arguments to discredit creationist reasoning. They did very little of that
actually. Instead of using objective science to prove creation wrong, they
just said "It's religion, not science. The end." What!? You can't just say
someone is wrong without backing it up with evidence. They didn't even explain
why they thought ID was scientifically flawed. "ID is religion. Therefore it
cannot be meshed with science. And anyone who thinks it can is stupid."
Really? That's how you refute creation? Weak. It seems to me that since there
is a creator, science should back that up (as it does). And so, science not
only can be meshed with religion, it must be. Also, Richard Dawkins was in the
movie we watched. I've never listened to him before. He really likes to
just... insult people and call them idiots. I was unimpressed. But you know,
students laughed when Dawkins called creationists ignorant. I just don't get
it. Nevertheless, the movie talked about how dangerous ID is to Darwin and how
it's gonna take over if people don't fight back. I thought "Yeah! We're a
threat!" If we're so wrong, why are they so threatened?

Perrysburg, OH - Please pray for Brian.  What a kind young man.  Got to share with him a little over dinner and he's planning on coming to the meeting tomorrow night.  Pray he will be able to make it.  Pray for his studies and very importantly for his thyroid.  He's got issues and doctors are working on it.  VERY encouraging conversation with him.  Pray the Lord draws him to Himself and blesses him.

Perrysburg, OH - I cannot even beging to spell the names for these two folks.  Please pray for our waitress who is from Indonesia.  Her father just had a stroke and she was very encouraged that we offered to pray for her.  You could see her face light up.  Pray again that the Lord would draw them to Himself if they don't know him.  Thank you!

Not sure, came in from email - Pray for Hannah, she sent this in.  "Pray for me tomorrow. Our lecture for Genetics class is titled "Micheal
Behe and the Mousetrap Crap". The class notes read " Creation
Science>Intelligent Design>What will they try next?" My teacher,
Dr. Babitzki, has been very disrespectful in the past,  saying that
people who believe in intelligent design are ignorant of science. I must
say I'm getting really frustrated by "Richard Dawkin this" and "Richard Dawkins that". This is genetics class! Not Evolution-is-Science-and-Creation-is-Stupid class. Why can't we be objective?

Flowery Branch, GA - Please pray for a friend named Jayson. He just got back from ministry in Mexico and they think he's got a parasite!  Not good.  Pray that it doesn't spread to his children or anyone else and he'll heal.  During this time though pray the Lord is glorified, even in sickness.  Thanks.

San Diego, CA - Please pray for Steven. He's representing Veracity Wear Ministries at a huge youth event in San Diego.  Pray the Lord opens doors for him to get their message out and that the Lord will bring some divine appointments his way.

Newburg, OR - Please pray for Dr. Don Chittick.  He is a dear man that has blessed me mightily over the years.  Check his ministry out at Creation Compass.  He recently had surgery on his eye and is having difficulty.  Please pray the Lord will give him his vision back so he can drive.  His ministry is very busy and the Lord is blessing them in amazing way.  Dear man!

Flowery Branch, GA - Please pray for the family of Gabe.  He was a fine young man that had a servants heart.  Whenever I was in the Atlanta area Gabe was there working as a volunteer.  He truly blessed me.  He was involved in a car accident and killed.  Lift his family up please.  Pray the Lord would work in an amazing way and bring glory to Himself in this difficult time.

Owasso, OK - Please pray for Joy.  She served us at lunch and had a wonderful smile.  Life is going good for her and she asked that we pray for this up coming Thanksgiving.  Pray the Lord draws her close to him as well.  We gave her the churches information so I'd ask that we pray He draw her to church as well.

Santa Ana, CA - URGENT Please pray for my friend Bub.  He went into the hospital today with what felt like a heart attack.  He's out, they think it is stress related.  Please pray for him.  He's a dear brother and someone that I'm working with on a lot of ministry.  Thank you.
