Home again, home again jiggidy jig!

England was amazing, truly amazing.  To best illustrate it let me just share with you a few of the comments that came in from the youth and those that work with them that we had the privilege of sharing with.

"Hi . . . My name is Olivia and I went to Truth4Youth recently on
the 27th to the 31st and listened to some of your talks on fossils and
death by media and things like that.  You have really encouraged me and i
have started to read some of the books you suggested like`the New Answers Book.  You might remember me because you had my badge on because I
left it in the lounge . . . You have really been a blessing and I just
wanted to say thank you!"

"Rhiannon . . . Just wanted to say 'thank you' for your talks at T4Y!  I really enjoyed them and learned a lot....I'm starting college Monday after being homeschooled for a few years, and I'm sure i will come across evolution quite a few times!  And hearing your testimony was a blessing too:)  See you soon!"

"Ruth . . . Just wanted to say thank you so much for blessing everyone at Truth 4 Youth:)  It really was amazing and I know (because we've had the most discussions about your sessions) that you have touched a lot of people and helped them with the right words to say at the right time.  Really hope to see you at the T4Y again (soon!).  God bless x"

"Anna . . . The kids of our youth group were really encouraged by your talks at the Truth 4 Youth.  Thanks so much for letting the Lord us you in their lives."

"Phil . . . Hey Carl, just want to thank you for being part of the amazing weekend at the Truth 4 Youth:)  Your talks and testimony were a real blessing and encouragement.  God bless with whatever the Lord has in store for you and hope to hear more from you soon!"

"Georgie D. . . . Hello Carl! I just wanted to say
thanks because I have really enjoyed listening to you over the weekend
and I asked my mum to buy me your book, 'Remote Control' and I was so
excited to get it all weekend and when I finally got it I waited for my 2
hour journey home, which isn't a lot, to read to fill in some time. I
didn't read all of it but couldn't wait till the next day to read it again!
I have now finished it, since yesterday. I am lending it to my brother
Tom, who has also really enjoyed T4Y. I can't wait till he has finished
it so I can read it again. Your presentations have been a great help to
and as well as reading the book I always look out for things. I started
school today and in our planner we get to help us organize homeworkk and
things, i found an 'interesting' fact that was at the bottom of page of
one of the weekly homework plan. I saw it it and it and it jumped out at
me, 'did you know that the universe is 13.7 billion years old' and i
automatically thought, "Wendy's, where's the beef?" So with you help of
presentations and your book I am now looking out for these sorts of
things all the time! I am waiting to read the Answers Book 1 after
Olivia has read it but in the mean time I am reading a book that my mum
got me when we went to see Tom Mcmahon in Bournemouth before T4Y called
'Goodbye America, Goodbye Britain' about the end times.. So I am eager
to read all about these things! Once again thank you for coming to T4Y
and really encouraging me to read my Bible more and read into
Christianity more, thank you also for taking the time to read this
message!"

"Elaine . . . We really enjoyed listening
to you at Reddish CF...we were very blessed. It's a shame I'm too old
for Truth for Youth - I would have had a great time...perhaps next time
there'll be a Truth for Oldies ;-)"

Well, all I can tell you is that these blessed me.  These are just a few of the responses that I received.  I've had over 20 young folks from these meetings connect with me on Facebook after being over there.  Numerous questions have followed as well.  All I can say is that young folks are hungry.

I got home late Friday night.  Today I'm just trying to catch up.  I'd appreciate your prayers.  Really looking for the Lord's leading and direction.  You bless me with your prayers.

Blessings,

ck

P.S. I just got this email in this afternoon, Saturday.  I am so blessed to have had this opportunity.  Had to share this with you.

"Dear Carl,
Thank you so much for all of your hard work, effort and
time with us all at T4Y, you are truly a blessing from the Lord! I am
sure that He will strengthen and sustain you for the work that He has
set before you and your rewards will be great!
I wanted to encourage
you that you made such an impact to so many people and really spurred
people on to be more obedient to the Lord. Our own younger daughter
Robyn is painfully shy and although almost 20 stays glued to our sides
during the time we spend at Heatree. She announced on Thursday evening
that she wanted to be baptised, a big step for her in front of people
(even when she knows them well!) Well her dad (Lofty) and surrogate dad
Graham Gee baptised her this afternoon in the river, with all of our
fellowship (who were all at T4Y) It was a very special day for us to see
her make her very own declaration of faith in our Lord. Praise God for
any conviction that the Lord used you to bring about.
Don't ever be
discouraged in what you are doing or wonder if it's what you are meant
to be doing, you are doing an amazing job and have a real gift which not
everyone has which is an approachability and reality which speaks to
hearts.
I pray that you get plenty of rest before your next lot of talks and look forward to the next time you come to T4Y.
With love in Christ,
Izzy"
