Return of the 'Snow Curse'!

The ‘snow curse’ continues! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I had to shovel a LOT of snow, again. It did help in one way though because it allowed me the time to take my second exam for Systematic Theology on Tuesday. Wow! That was tough, I’d rather shovel snow.

Thursday I took off for Tupelo, MS. You’re right, that’s where Elvis was born. Uh huh! Fortunately the roads were clear so no problems on the drive.

Friday was a crazy busy day. First, I was on three different radio programs on American Family Radio. Really good! The first show is co-hosted by a long time friend of mine named J.J. Jasper. J.J. is such a kind man, very soft spoken and funny as anyone you’ll ever meet. He’s a comedian as well as a radio host. He let me come on his show for about 20 minutes, just got to chat and catch up. Pray for J.J. and his family.  Last July their 5 year old son was killed in an accident.  Really tough!

Then I was on Tim Wildmon’s show with his long-time co-host Marvin Sanders. Pray for Marvin, he's going to have his spleen taken out, ouch!  Had a really good time with these guys.  This program was also was broadcast live over Sky Angel Satellite TV network. That went really well, good questions were called in and really good conversation took place.

Lastly, I was on the “Trivia Friday” show with Tim and J.J.. This is just a fun program where we asked questions of listeners and they could call in and answer the question or ask us a question. Lots of fun, some of the questions they asked us were TOUGH! J.J. was the man though, he really knew his stuff and saved our bacon!

That afternoon I spoke at a Christian School in the area.  Awesome!!!!! Already got an email from one of the students asking a question!

Hello my name is XXXXX from Lakeview Baptist academy...I was
wondering how do you know that everything you showed us wasn’t just
there some how and that the Bible wasn’t just made up by someone
...thanks!

Praise God! Got to give him a response and now pray the Lord will encourage him to continue asking good questions and searching for Biblical answers.

Friday night got to have dinner with a long time supporter of AiG!  Dr. Moore is in his 70's and semi retired. He works a couple of days a week as a pathologist. We had a great visit. He prays for an hour a day! Wow! To have him tell me he's praying for us, by name, truly blessed me. Pray for his wife, she suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis and has only been able to get out of the house twice this winter!!

Saturday was a great day.  Got to spend the day hanging out with Mark Hall and Juan Devevo of Casting Crowns.  These guys are such a blessing.  They actually advertise for the ministry that I work for because they believe in our message so much.  That's an unbelievable blessing.

Saturday night Masami and I went to the Casting Crowns/Kutless concert.  Mark had me do the devotion before the concert for the bands.  Really cool.  Steven Curtis Chapman's son was there also.  Had some GREAT conversations with the guys afterwards.  After the devotions we all went through the arena praying over the seats for those that would be attending the concert.  This is always such a blessing to me to be able to do this.  These guys are such a blessing it's hard to put into words.  Mark is now showing a video AiG made using all of our speakers during the intermission to the entire audience.  Wow!  What a blessing.

Sunday I speak at a new church in Tupelo, praying the Lord will be glorifed.  Start heading home on Monday because we'll leave Sunday after church to go to Alabama to visit some supporters of the ministry.  Life is good and ministry is amazing!  Thanks for your prayers.
