Fishing Story!

O.K.! Finally got the chance to download some pictures. I told you last time that while we were driving from Marco Island to Miami we made a pit stop and fished for a few hours with a friend. I didn't give you the whole story because I didn't have the pictures to show what I'm talking about. You may remember my fishing buddy in the middle with the blue shirt, Neal. Just to catch up you can read about our last fishing adventure here.
Anyway, Florida went through a very bad cold spell for two weeks before we got there. It was kind of sad to see so many dead fish in the water while we were on the boat. Because of this fishing was pretty bad. No, not pretty bad, REALLY bad! Our friend caught the only fish while we were out on the boat. (See below!)

Other than that, we were skunked! It didn't matter though because it wsa just a wonderful time of fellowship. Now, if you talk to my buddy Neal he's going tot tell you how he outfished me. I think our previous trip is still hurting him a little! So, in full-disclosure I've got to give you the rest of the story. Here's Neal with his fish. (See below!)

Yes, Neal caught a fish and I didn't. As a matter of fact he caught about 7 fish! And the young man, Zach who traveled with us caught around 3 fish. (See below.)

The discerning eye will see something in common with these two pictures. See how they are holding the fish closer to the camera so that it looks bigger than it really is? These fish were so tiny that if you added all of his together it wouldn't have equaled one of the bass that I caught in Georgia. You see, they were catching these from the dock once we came back from the ocean. I felt so bad for these babies that I just couldn't make myself put a line in the water. I was afraid someone would put me in jail for catching such small fish.
If you run into my buddy Neal though, humor him. He finally outfished me and I'll have to live with that. I'll just wait until there is something bigger to catch that a sardine. Those poor things wouldn't have even made good bait they were so small!
After leaving I told you we went to Miami to speak in the Christian school. Below is a picture from that speaking. Lot of kids, great responses, totally encouraging.

My brother has a radio program that will be starting soon. If you get the chance, take a listen. Here's and advertisement for it.

Blessings, stay bold.
Carl
