Minnesnowda?

Last week a friend sent me this picture that he took while we were in Israel together. I don't know what I was thinking about when he took it but, I was sure wishing to be back there when the temperature was 20 below zero over the weekend!!
It was just plain COLD! I have to admit though, the ministry was really, really good. It was a blessing to have Masami go with me. I didn't think she was going to be able to make it though. The day before we left she had to go to the hospital emergency room because of the pain whe was having. She didn't get home until 2 am and we had to leave at 6 am. They gave her some medicine that really helped and she insisted that she come along on the trip though. Selfishly, I'm happy she did.
We were able to stop on the way to St. Croix Wisconsin and purchase the rest of the medicine that was prescribed and it took care of the problem. Having her with me is always a blessing. Fortunately she could sleep on the plane and that night when we got to Wisconsin.
The roads were horrible but we still had over 130 people show up on a Thursday night when it was 20 below zero. The folks that were there really got into the talk and made it a LOT of fun to be with them. Went to the Mall of America the next day and got a Minnesota Vikings Jersey and got a great deal on it. The only issue is that the guy whose jersey doesn't play in the NFL anymore!!! Oh well, it was on sale and looks really good.
Saturday morning went to a men's Bible study and had a great time. Really good, godly men seeking to serve the Lord. They really encouraged me. After that meeting Masami and I drove to Red Wing Minnesota. The ministry there was also amazing. Pastor Tom went above and beyond at making us welcome. We had a good turn out and again, the folks truly seemed to be encouraged.
Leave Saturday for Florida and am excited about the chance to work with the young folks there. God is truly good, all the time. Stay bold.
