New Jersey!

Sorry, no pictures this time.  I, got back from New Jersey on Tuesday, great ministry as usual.  The pastor who brought me out heard me speak in the Creation Museum a year ago and set up the event that same day.  He's a good man who's very active in the community.  Tommy Mitchell, who also speaks at Answers in Genesis, is going to be in that area next year doing a family camp.

Sweet folks, they took me out for 'real' New York style pizza.  Sorry my dear friends in Chicago, THAT'S NOT PIZZA!  Thin crust, almost like a cracker, with crazy good toppings, lightly browned cheese on top.  I'm salivating, forgive me!  Good Stuff!

Anyway, spoke 3 times on Sunday, and only once on Monday.  Kind of light to be honest.  That's good though, let my voice rest a little bit.  I'm still struggling with it.  Gave me time to work on my talks as well.  I've got a bunch of video that was shot in Michigan by some young men where they went out on the street and did "Worldview Surveys".  I'm taking all of that film now and cutting the clips, typing out the text so I can put it in the talks as 'sub-titles'.  This is slow, boring work!  It makes a world of difference inthe talk though having the text.

I've almost comepleted 2 of the 6 individuals they filmed.  That's taken 4 days of work!!!  Did I mention it's slow, boring work!  Sorry, I guess I did!  When you're doing this you almost go into a mind meld with the computure and everything blanks out around you.  Well, I did something stupid in this 'zone mode'!  A dear friend called from Florida, I'll be visiting them in January.  (Did I mention I hate it when I've got to go to Florida in January!  Nope, 'cause that'd be a lie!)  So, here I am, 'zone mode' on the computer, talking on the phone to my friends pastor whom he had put on the phone.  My voice is cracking because I've got this frog in the throat thing going on so I reach for my spray bottle of vitamins that my wife was so kind to purchase for me.  I squirt two big old squirts in my mouth and almost throw up!  It's not the vitamin stuff, it's the computer screen cleaner!  Now, I've got to tell you that there's nothing harder than trying not to make gagging sounds and other assorted noises when you're talking with your friends pastor and you've got a mouth full of Formula 409 in your mouth.

I made it through the call then immediatly chucked a half of a lung!  Not a good start to the day.  I have to admit it helped with my diet, I didn't feel like eating anything until WAY after lunch!  Throat feels pretty good though, I may be onto something!

Got a friend coming Friday to show around the Museum and then leave Saturday for ministry in Georgia with my buddy Neal Brewer, (Remember him?  I out fished him a few months ago.) and Mr. Rick Jackson.  They've pulled together a few spots for me to minister in and I'm excited to be with them.

I'll fill you in when I get back.  As a minimum, stay bold.  Share the love of Christ with someone.
