Quick Week

Well, my son got married! It was a crazy week leading up to the event for sure. Two days before the wedding they had to change the locatioin because of the weather. We praise God for such a kind church family that we have at Big Bone Baptist. My pastor automatically opened the doors for us and was even out the morning of the wedding cutting down weeds on a corner leading into our church parking lot to make it safer for our visitors. What a servant spirit and example!

Dennis's Cake, pretty cool!
Pastor David Denna did an awesome job on the service. It was a very encouraging service. A lot of Dennis's ex-workmates showed up. Many who don't know the Lord as Saviour. Candace did an awesome job of pulling everything together as well. We are very blessed with good friends. The day before the wedding we took the families to Korean. Not smart! The food was awesome, the smell stuck with us though. I chewed on a LOT of mints during the wedding. We love Korean!
After the wedding we went to The Farm for the reception! They did an
AWESOME job. Probably some of the best food you'll find and the folks
who run the place are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet.
If you live in the Cincy area you gotta' go here on a Tuesday or Thursday for dinner. They're only open two nights a week the rest of the time they do the wedding ceremonies.
Dan has an amazing story, make sure you say 'hi' to him if you go there. He's a dear brother in Christ who's such a hard worker. Another example of servant leadership in example. We need more folks like this for sure.
At the reception I had something very special happen. First, I got to dance with my daughter. (You'll see the picture below.) In addition I had a young lady ask me to dance. It's been a long time since this kind of thing happened. Well, I've got a photo to remember this event as well. See below!

That's a bubble in front of my daughters face!! Isabel is the young lady that asked me to dance. She's a beauty for sure and had some amazing moves!
Today I went to Peebles Ohio to speak. Praise God my voice held up. I'm really struggling right now with it. My wife is trying to get a doctors appointment for me prior to my leaving this Friday. Once I leave Friday I'm gone until November 23rd.
In Peebles I saw something that was just awesome. Take a look at the picture below!

You see the young man with his guitar. He's right next to dad playing his heart out. It was so cute I had to get some video of it. I'll put it up on YouTube one of these days. What a picture of discipleship though.
Please pray for the Philippine ministry. They were hit today by a hurricane and Manilla experiences the worst flooding in their history. We're not sure if the ministry will be cancelled or not. Five people were killed by this. Regardless of my going there or not they need prayer.
Stay bold, pray for Jennifer, I put her on the Prayer Warrior section. What an encourging opportunity. Remember, God is good, all the time. Blessings.
