Back From Michigan!

Rothbury was an awesome experience. These were some of the sweetest folks you'll ever run into. I have to give a special thanks to the Mason's who went out of their way to help me with the event. They are VCC's (video conference coordinators" for AiG. They show our videos to places that can't afford to have a speaker come and are great representatives of the ministry. They really helped me a LOT, God bless you guys!
While up there I had a sweet couple take me out to lunch after the morning service. It was so encouraging because when the waiter came up the lady, Beverly, told him how she'd been challenged iin church to ask the server how they could pray for them. The waiter, Nick, was a very kind young man. He looked a little surprised. She told him to just think about how we could pray for him. When he brought our food she followed up with him if he had thought of anything. He said yes and asked that we pray for him to stay focused. He's very busy and needed to be able to stay on track. We prayed for him as well as his salvation. At the end of our meal when Nick came back to take our dishes away he just stopped and talked with us. It was so encouraging. He opened up about how he works 80 plus hours a week and has no time. He shared that he's lonely and wondered if God was trying to get his attention. Wow! What an opportunity. I was able to share the Gospel with him and the couple was able to make contact as well so he had some local faces to speak with. Needless to say I was very encouraged by this.
Anyway, I just got an email 15 minutes ago from Nick that I'll share with you, hopefully you'll be as encouraged as I was.
I would really like to thank you for taking your time to speak with me at your lunch last weekend. It really woke me up and I know now I need God more in my life thanks to you. I really appreciate the book you had Beverly give me to read, I will deff. give it a chance. Thank you again and i will keep in touch, thanks nick
Please open up and start sharing with folks. It's amazing to see how hungry people are just for people to treat them with respect and show genuine compassion.
Got to the hotel around 11:30 pm and had to get up at 4:30 am to catch the flight back to Cincy. Wake up at 4:30 am to an email sent at 4:00 am that my flight is postponed for 2 hours! Argh! Can't get back to sleep for anything, how frustrating. Anyway, I should be happy because I got home and that's what's important. Worked on Q&A materials the rest of the week all the way up until, well, 10 minutes ago.
Also worked on my Dad's Tribute Web Page. The picture at the top of the site is one of many that I added over the weekend. I especiall added a LOT of newspaper clippings to the Match History section 1963-1969. I also added some pictures to the Luke Brown, Kentuckians and added Photo's of my dad and myself section here.
Anyway, may the Lord richly bless you. Pray for me this week please, lots of things to do to get the website up and running by the 15th. My son has been a HUGE blessing. I've got a number of videos now that are ready to go. He's a great young man and I love him a LOT. Pray for he and Tish as well. He gets married in less than 2 weeks! We're very happy for them.
Blessings, remember, God is good, all the time.
